fête is an event platform operated by PlayFest Party Co. (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the platform as a guest, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Organiser accounts require a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to create an organiser account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse platform resources, or engage in unlawful activity.
You agree not to use fête to:
You retain ownership of any content you or your guests upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited licence to store and serve that content as part of providing the service.
On the free plan, guest photos are automatically deleted 30 days after your event date. Pro plan photos are retained according to your plan terms. We are not responsible for loss of content after the retention window has passed.
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and permissions for any audio tracks uploaded for slideshow generation.
As an organiser, you act as a data controller for the personal information your guests provide during check-in (name, email, dietary requirements). You are responsible for using that data lawfully and in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle data as a processor.
We provide fête on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may modify or discontinue features at any time.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlayFest Party Co. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of fête, including loss of content, data, or revenue.
